Performs month-end activities and reporting. Responsible for supporting the Asset Transformation Lead in the delivery of the Finance Transformation Program of work, through the development and implementation of policies and procedures, performance reporting, and process improvement for the center’s Acquisition to Retire (A2R) activities. Duties and responsibilities - Identify opportunities for consolidation and integration of existing business / finance systems to reduce complexity, improve data flow through, and drive process efficiency - Assist the Transformation Lead by documenting ‘to be’ process flow, articulating procedures and work instructions, and writing policy documents - Coordinate, plan, test, and implement system improvement or implementation projects impacting A2R activities within the Shared Service - Define business requirements as part of implementing a ‘to be’ process - Project Manage streams of work as part of the Finance Shared Service improvements including developing project plans and reporting on progress - Be the central point of control for all Asset Accounting policies and processes to ensure the documents are reviewed, maintained, and aligned with any revised business processes - Design and specify Shared Service catalogue to measure adherence to the PPE Policy company-wide - Capture and report on transactional performance metrics required to monitor the performance of the A2R services and SLA’s provided by the Shared Services Team - Design & deliver training material and communications to end users in line with process improvement initiatives - Work with Stakeholders to implement policies and increase adherence to policy - Maintain internal control processes within Asset to Retire Process - Create asset in SAP and generate asset tag. Ensure that asset is capitalized in adherence with PPE policy. - Review data synchronization between SAP and RTS. - Review and fill in SAP Enrollment Form for newly received assets. - Specific to ATP, perform interim ocular inspection. - Prepare and submit Interim and Final Asset In Transition report - Review and approve Asset Transfer Movement. - Prepare all needed documents for asset transfer and sale to other Amkor Site or 3rd Party. - Ensure useful life of transferred asset is updated. - Ensure preparation of percentage completion of facilities projects spreadsheet and related journal entry. Ensure that signed copy of % completion is secured from Facilities. - Ensure that Investment Monitoring worksheet covering up to the end of the month is dulyprepared and disposition in accordance with policy. - Review and ensure all month-end journal entries and accruals are booked completely and timely. - Ensure that all month-end activities such as, but not limited to, the items listed below are done completely and accurately: Inventory Tooling and retirement * Impairment * Depreciation Run * Asset Retirement * Order Settlement * Inventory Tooling and retirement * Prepare required month-end reports: * Asset in Start Up * Capex Report * Fixed Asset by Profit Center * Reconciliation * 10K Reports Rollforward * IS Flux Analysis * SL-GL Recon * BPC Report< Originally posted on Himalayas
