Workshop Manager
Key Responsibilities1. Operational Management Oversee daily operations of the automotive workshop/service centre. Ensure smooth workflow across service, repair, bodyshop, and related operations. Monitor productivity, efficiency, and turnaround time. Develop and implement operational procedures to improve performance. 2. Team Management Supervise Workshop Managers, Supervisors, Technicians, Service Advisors, and support staff. Monitor employee performance and productivity. Coordinate manpower planning and staff allocation. Identify training and development requirements. 3. Workshop Performance Monitor workshop productivity and efficiency. Ensure timely completion of vehicle repair and maintenance work. Control job turnaround time and minimize delays. Ensure proper utilization of labour, tools, and workshop resources. 4. Quality Control Ensure all repair and maintenance work meets company and manufacturer quality standards. Monitor quality checks before vehicle delivery. Address recurring technical or operational issues. Implement corrective actions to improve service quality. 5. Customer Satisfaction Ensure high standards of customer service. Monitor and resolve customer complaints and escalations. Work closely with Service Advisors and relevant departments to improve customer satisfaction. 6. Financial & Cost Control Monitor operational costs and control unnecessary expenses. Support achievement of revenue and profitability targets. Monitor labour productivity and workshop performance. Assist management with budgeting and cost-control initiatives. 7. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations. Maintain health and safety standards within the workshop. Ensure proper use of equipment and PPE. Monitor compliance with operational and quality procedures. 8. Reporting & Management Coordination Prepare and submit operational and performance reports to senior management. Monitor KPIs and take corrective action where required. Coordinate with HR, Finance, Procurement, and other departments. Provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and business performance. Knowledge of workshop productivity and operational KPIs. Customer service and complaint-handling skills. Financial and cost-control awareness. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management , or a related field. 10–15 years of experience in automotive operations or workshop management. Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the automotive industry is preferred. Pay: AED3,379.41 - AED10,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
