Job purpose The Workplace Manager will oversee FM operations for the client office, ensuring consistent, compliant and effective REFM/FM service delivery. The role will manage and coordinate the Cairo site team and service partners, set priorities, monitor performance, and ensure timely closure of actions and escalations. The Workplace Manager will act as the key point of accountability for REFM services and solutions at the Cairo office and as the internal Client to the REFM Delivery team, providing local escalation and representation.The role requires strong technical FM experience to oversee hard services and technical vendors and takes ownership of continuous ISO audit readiness. Local delivery must remain aligned with client requirements, regional/EMEA objectives, financial targets, operational standards and account governance. What you will be doing: Oversee day-to-day REFM/FM service delivery for the client office, ensuring consistent, safe and compliant execution. Manage and coordinate the Cairo site team and service partners, providing direction, support and clear priorities. Track all site responsibilities, open actions, operational issues, risks and escalations, ensuring timely closure and clear reporting to the Senior Workplace Manager / account leadership. Monitor site performance, service delivery, compliance and corrective actions, and follow through to closure. Drive a one-team approach at the Cairo office and ensure alignment with client account, REFM and regional requirements communicated through account leadership. Take ownership of the technical FM scope for the Cairo office, including oversight of hard services, MEP/building systems, PPM, reactive maintenance and technical service delivery. Review and challenge technical recommendations, scopes of work, quotations and corrective actions proposed by FM vendors/contractors, escalating where specialist support is required. Ensure asset registers, PPM schedules, maintenance records, statutory inspections, permits, RAMS and technical service reports are complete, current and properly maintained. Take responsibility for continuous ISO audit readiness at the Cairo office, including audit preparation, evidence availability, site readiness, and tracking findings, observations and corrective actions to timely closure. Be responsible for the P&L performance and associated cost controls for the Cairo office. Ensure planning arrangements are in line with approved forecasts, budgets and profit targets for the Cairo office. Identify service-improvement and potential growth/cross-selling opportunities at the Cairo office and raise them through the appropriate account channels. Own and continuously develop the financial/commercial plan for the Cairo office, including budget tracking, forecasting and reporting. Manage supply partners serving the Cairo office and drive consistent performance against agreed scope, SLA/KPI and compliance requirements. Partner internally with REFM and account stakeholders to resolve alignment gaps, coordinate required actions and escalate matters when needed. Prepare non-business-as-usual / non-routine operational updates and supporting information for the Senior Workplace Manager / account leadership. Ensure the Cairo site team and service partners understand and implement applicable client requirements, policies, standards and corporate directions. Translate regional/EMEA objectives and account requirements into clear site-level actions for the Cairo office and coordinate execution. Support account leadership with operational data, site updates and performance information for reviews, governance meetings and account reporting. Maintain strong working relationships with REFM and cross-functional peers in HR, IT, Finance, Risk Management, Security and HSE, including incident planning and operational readiness. Participate in the assessment of financial and operational impacts for Cairo Site Strategy and agreed improvement initiatives. Coordinate local project requirements for the Cairo office and route them through the portfolio/project management process for review and prioritisation. Complete project initiation forms and supporting documentation for local projects and verify alignment with the approved site/regional plan. Act as landlord and service-provider point of contact for Cairo REFM activities where agreed, escalating as required. Support the deployment of CONNECT and other account initiatives at the Cairo office. What you will bring Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field 5–8+ years' experience in facilities management
