Role Description Larrimer and Larrimer is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation attorney to join our established practice. We are looking for a motivated attorney with a minimum of two years of workers' compensation experience representing injured workers before the Industrial Commission of Ohio. Qualifications - Strong foundation in Law, with specific experience or coursework related to Workers’ Compensation and Labor and Employment Law. - Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to clients, including explaining complex rules, benefits, and case options. - Proficiency in Research, including reviewing statutes, regulations, case law, and medical documentation relevant to workers’ compensation claims. - Effective Negotiation skills for handling settlements, mediations, and discussions with employers, insurers, and opposing counsel. - Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license (or eligibility for admission) to practice law in Ohio. - Strong written and oral advocacy skills, including drafting persuasive documents and presenting arguments at hearings. - Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Commitment to client service, professional ethics, and maintaining confidentiality.
