In this role, you will be responsible for managing workers' compensation claims, providing expert legal counsel, and advocating for clients throughout the claims process. Your expertise will help ensure fair resolution of cases while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex litigation, negotiate settlements, and develop innovative legal strategies in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in workers' compensation law and excellent legal research and writing skills. Responsibilities - Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from inception through resolution, including litigation and settlement negotiations - Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies - Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and trial preparation materials with precision and clarity - Represent clients in depositions, hearings, arbitrations, mediations and trials while advocating effectively on their behalf - Collaborate with clients to gather evidence, review medical records, and assess claim validity - Negotiate fair settlements that align with client interests while complying with statutory legal requirements Experience/Skills - Proven experience in workers' compensation law is preferred but not required - Prior law office experience involving legal motion preparation, client communication, and legal drafting is highly desirable - Excellent writing skills combined with the ability to conduct comprehensive legal research are critical for success in this role - The ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred but not required Join our team to make a meaningful impact by providing legal counsel in workers' compensation cases.
