Hours of work: You’ll work both weekend days at our Head Office in Buckshaw Village, Chorley on the following working pattern: Saturday – 7.5 hours from 9am to 5:00pm Sunday – 5.5 hours from 10am to 4pm What you’ll be doing: Assisting in the smooth running of the contact centre; taking customer reservations predominantly via the phone and over the web for our holidays. This is a great opportunity to join a successful team delivering exceptional customer service. Duties include: - Answering incoming calls from customers wishing to book or enquire about Alfa holidays and hotels - Taking balance payments for customer holidays - Issuing tickets to guests - Converting any calls and enquiries into sales What we’re looking for: We’d love to hear from you if you’re friendly, reliable, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Whilst no formal qualifications are required for the role, you will need to: - Be confident in your ability to convert general enquiries into sales - Provide excellent levels of customer service - Have the ability to work under pressure, whilst maintaining a patient, helpful and friendly manner with customers when taking calls - Be a confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner - Have strong attention to detail - Have experience with Microsoft Office packages The benefits of being an employee owner At the Alfa Holiday Group, you’ll be part of a business owned by its employees, where your contribution matters.
