You should be someone who understands both design and development , can take a website from concept to launch, and is comfortable working on custom requirements rather than relying only on templates and plugins. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain websites using WordPress and Shopify Build custom websites and web solutions as per project requirements Customise Shopify themes, sections and functionalities Develop and customise WordPress themes and plugins Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP Integrate APIs, third-party tools, payment gateways, forms and other platforms Ensure websites are responsive, fast, secure and SEO-friendly Troubleshoot bugs, errors and performance issues Manage website migrations, hosting, domains, backups and deployments Work closely with the design and marketing teams to implement website layouts and functionality Maintain and update existing client websites Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility Must-Have Skills 3+ years of hands-on web development experience Strong experience with Shopify Strong experience with WordPress Experience in custom website development Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP Experience with Shopify Liquid Experience with WordPress themes, plugins and customisation Understanding of SEO, website speed and performance optimisation Experience with APIs and third-party integrations Good understanding of hosting, domains, DNS and SSL Ability to independently handle projects from development to deployment Who We're Looking For Someone who can take ownership of projects Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Attention to detail Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Comfortable handling multiple client projects Good communication skills Someone who keeps up with current web development practices and technologies Good to Have Experience with Figma-to-website development Knowledge of React / modern JavaScript frameworks Experience with WooCommerce Experience with custom Shopify apps or advanced Shopify integrations Basic understanding of UI/UX What We Offer ₹30,000/month Full-time opportunity Opportunity to work on diverse projects across multiple industries Hands-on exposure to Shopify, WordPress and custom development Collaborative environment with creative, design and marketing teams Opportunity to take ownership of projects and grow with the company If you are someone who can build beyond templates and plugins and enjoys solving real development challenges, we'd love to hear from you.
