Warehouse Team Leader

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to help drive productivity and efficiency within our busy warehouse operation.

You will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, organising daily workloads and ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.

We're looking for someone who can lead from the front, motivate their team and keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate and manage a team of warehouse operatives.
• Plan and allocate daily workloads to meet order deadlines.
• Drive productivity, efficiency and accuracy across the warehouse.
• Ensure customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched on time.
• Oversee product assembly and production requirements and ensure deadlines are met.
• Monitor staff performance and maintain high working standards.
• Support stock control and inventory accuracy.
• Identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes.
• Maintain a safe, organised and efficient working environment.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Previous Team Leader or supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good computer skills.
• A proactive, practical approach with a willingness to get involved.

Desirable:

• Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (Sage X3)
• Knowledge of stock control and inventory management.
• Experience in Works Order production or assembly operations.
• Forklift licence (counterbalance & flexi truck)

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
