Warehouse Supervisor (Full Time)

Quickfit Container Accessories LtdHorsham RH13 5QR

Are you an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys taking the lead, keeping things organised and making sure the job gets done properly?

We're looking for a proactive Warehouse Team Leader to take an active role in the day-to-day running of our warehouse at Quickfit Container Accessories. As a friendly, family-run business, we're looking for someone who can bring structure, consistency and a positive attitude to the team. This is very much a hands-on position. You'll be working alongside the warehouse team, coordinating daily tasks, keeping stock organised and ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time. You'll work closely with our Operations Manager, taking responsibility for the warehouse floor, resolving day-to-day issues and identifying ways to make our processes more efficient.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, uses their initiative and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. If you enjoy having responsibility and making a real difference to how a warehouse operates, this could be the role for you.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Leading the team: Work alongside the warehouse team, providing direction, support and guidance throughout the day.
  • Managing workloads: Plan and prioritise daily tasks to keep operations running efficiently and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Order fulfilment: Oversee and carry out picking, packing, labelling and dispatch to ensure orders are accurate and leave on time.
  • Goods in and stock control: Receive deliveries, check incoming goods, replenish stock and investigate discrepancies.
  • Warehouse organisation: Maintain clear stock locations, organised shelving and efficient use of available space.
  • Systems and documentation: Update our warehouse management system and prepare commercial invoices, transport documents and shipping labels. Training will be provided where needed.
  • Courier and pallet preparation: Ensure shipments are correctly prepared and ready for collection.
  • Problem-solving: Take ownership of day-to-day issues, make practical decisions and keep the Operations Manager informed of any significant challenges.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve stock accuracy, productivity and warehouse processes.
  • Health & Safety: Maintain high housekeeping standards, follow safe working practices and ensure manual handling is carried out correctly.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous warehouse experience, ideally with experience leading, supervising or supporting a team.
  • A practical, hands-on approach and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of warehouse operations.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly when handling stock and processing orders.
  • A confident communicator who can motivate colleagues and work well with others.
  • Someone who takes responsibility, uses their initiative and looks for solutions rather than waiting to be told what to do.
  • A good understanding of warehouse Health & Safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Confidence using warehouse or stock management systems is beneficial, although full training will be provided.
  • Reach Truck and Counterbalance Forklift licences would be an advantage, but training may be available for the right candidate.

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a busy warehouse operation within a supportive, family-run business. You'll have the chance to influence how the warehouse is organised, help the team work more effectively and contribute directly to the service we provide our customers. We're looking for someone who wants to get stuck in, take pride in their work and help us maintain a warehouse operation that runs smoothly, accurately and efficiently.

Interested? If you're ready for a hands-on leadership role where your contribution matters, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today to join the team at Quickfit Container Accessories.
