Position Summary

We are hiring a hands-on shift leader to coordinate warehouse staff, inventory, receiving, truck and trailer dispatch, deliveries, and returns. The right candidate ensures accurate orders, safe operations, and strong communication across shifts.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead assigned warehouse shift, assign tasks, train team members, and provide a clear handoff to the next shift.

· Oversee inventory preparation, cycle counts, receiving, labeling, storage, and order accuracy.

· Coordinate truck and trailer loading, dispatch, delivery schedules, returns, and next-shift priorities.

· Verify packing lists, bills of lading, receiving records, and inventory transactions.

· Inspect returned furniture for damage or missing items and promptly report discrepancies.

· Communicate with drivers, project managers, dispatch, and management regarding urgent requests and schedule changes.

· Enforce safe material handling, proper load securement, warehouse cleanliness, and equipment inspection procedures.

· Support hands-on loading, receiving, and inventory tasks when needed.

Qualifications

· Prior warehouse, inventory, dispatch, or logistics experience required; team-lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

· Bilingual English and Spanish required.

· Comfortable coordinating box trucks, trailers, loading priorities, and return processing; hands-on towing experience is a plus.

· Knowledge of inventory software, Microsoft Excel, shipping documentation, and BOLs preferred.

· Strong leadership, accountability, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Available for assigned shift, weekends, and event-driven schedule changes.
