About Company

Established in 2009, Domus Flowers is a well-known fresh flower importer and distributor in the UAE. We supply flower shops, online flower platforms, event companies and corporate clients from our Dubai headquarters, with a second warehouse of equal size in Abu Dhabi. We serve our clients seven days a week, and our export division, Domus Farms, ships flowers to Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and North Africa.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced logistics manager to run our warehouse and supply chain. Flowers are perishable, so every hour counts. You will make sure fresh stock moves from airport arrival to our clients' doors quickly, safely and at the right temperature, across both of our warehouses.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations in Dubai and coordinate with the Abu Dhabi warehouse, including receiving, cold-room storage, sorting, packing and dispatch.
• Plan and manage the delivery fleet, drivers and routes so orders reach clients on time, seven days a week.
• Coordinate airport cargo pick-ups, customs clearance and import documents with airlines, freight agents and clearing agents.
• Manage export shipments for Domus Farms, including documentation, packing standards and booking.
• Protect the cold chain and keep flower quality high, and keep spoilage and wastage as low as possible.
• Control stock levels, run regular stock counts and report accurately on inventory and wastage.
• Manage and develop the warehouse team, drivers and helpers, including rosters, performance and training.
• Keep to safety, hygiene and UAE regulatory standards, and keep vehicles and equipment in good order.
• Control logistics costs and track key measures such as on-time delivery, order accuracy and wastage.
• Work closely with Sales, Purchasing and Customer Service to meet daily and seasonal demand.

Requirements

• 7 to 10 years of experience in logistics, with strong warehouse management experience (Dubai or UAE experience is a strong advantage).
• Experience with perishable goods, cold chain or fresh produce is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of import and export procedures, customs clearance and airport cargo handling in the UAE.
• Proven experience leading a team, including drivers and warehouse staff.
• Good command of English. Arabic and other languages are an advantage.
• Skilled in Excel and inventory or warehouse management systems.
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills, and calm under pressure.
• Flexible for peak seasons such as Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, early mornings and weekend work.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain or a related field preferred.
