Position overview

Tealand, a UAE tea company established in 2004, is hiring a Warehouse In-Charge to run day-to-day warehouse operations for our retail, wholesale, HORECA and online channels.

Reports: to Operations Manager / Management

Employment type: Full-time, on-site

Salary: AED 3,000 – 4,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments (air, sea and local), check quantities and quality against invoices and packing lists, and report shortages or damage.
• Store tea, coffee, tea ware and packaging materials correctly: clean, dry, pest-free and away from heat, light and strong odours.
• Apply FIFO / FEFO and monitor expiry dates and batch numbers.
• Prepare and dispatch orders for retail shops, wholesale and HORECA clients, the website, Amazon and Noon, on time and accurately.
• Maintain accurate stock records in the inventory system and reconcile physical stock with system stock.
• Carry out regular cycle counts and full stock takes; investigate and report variances.
• Monitor stock levels and alert management about low stock and slow-moving items.
• Coordinate with couriers, freight forwarders and the sales and logistics teams on deliveries and returns.
• Handle returns and damaged goods according to company procedure.
• Keep the warehouse organised, clean and safe, in line with UAE food safety and municipality requirements.
• Supervise and guide warehouse helpers or drivers where applicable.

Requirements

Essential

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2–3 years of warehouse or storekeeping experience in the UAE, preferably in food, FMCG or retail.
• Good knowledge of stock control, FIFO / FEFO and inventory procedures.
• Basic computer skills: Excel and an inventory or ERP system.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Organised, accurate, honest and reliable.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move goods.

Preferred

• Diploma or certificate in logistics, supply chain or warehouse management.
• Experience with food products, especially tea, coffee or dry goods.
• Food safety or HACCP training.
• Experience shipping to e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Noon.
• Valid UAE driving licence and forklift licence.
• Tagalogue speaking.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
