# VP, Enterprise Operations (Fully Remote) **NIP Group** · Woodbridge, NJ 07095 · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Position Description: Who We Are NIP Group www.nipgroup.com is a rapidly growing insurance service provider of specialty programs for commercial insurance brokers and carriers providing underwriting, distribution, product management, administration, and risk management services primarily by acting as a managing underwriter (MGA) and a Reciprocal Services Manager (RSM). Our culture is one that empowers and encourages employees to be innovative, collaborative, and forward-thinking. If you are interested in being a part of a growing, entrepreneurial spirited organization, we'd love to hear from you! About the Position We're looking for a Vice President, Enterprise Operations to build and run a scalable enterprise operations capability as NIP Group continues to grow. Enterprise Operations was established about a year ago, and its inaugural leader built the foundation for the function. With that leader retiring, the next VP will have the opportunity to scale and institutionalize the operating model, standards, and performance cadence across the enterprise. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this leader will own process design, workflow standards, operational performance, capacity planning, vendor performance, and business adoption of automation. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can turn growth and profitability priorities into practical operating changes, add structure without slowing the business, and work effectively across Underwriting, Technology, Finance, Claims, Risk Management, Go To Market, HR, carriers, and service vendors. This is a remote-first role, with Eastern or Central time zones preferred and occasional travel of less than 10%, mainly to NIP offices in Newark, NJ; Charlotte, NC; and West Palm Beach, FL. What You'll Do We have an exciting opportunity for a Vice President, Enterprise Operations to join our team. Responsibilities include: Operating Model & Governance: - Define the mandate, decision rights, service model, and interfaces of Enterprise Operations. - Run a single intake and prioritization process that separates critical, committed, and deferred work. - Establish clear ownership with Technology for business ownership, technical ownership, funding, sequencing, and adoption. - Lead a monthly operating cadence focused on performance, capacity, risk, and transformation decisions. Process Redesign & Scalability: - Redesign high-value workflows end to end, beginning with submission intake, underwriting support, policy processing, and renewals. - Replace inconsistent practices with documented standards, controls, service levels, and escalation paths. - Remove bottlenecks, duplicate work, and rework, and drive changes through go-live and stabilization. - Standardize where it improves performance while preserving flexibility where programs, products, or carriers require it. Automation, AI & Technology Enablement: - Own the business case, requirements, process readiness, testing, adoption, and measured benefits for operations technology. - Partner with Technology on submission automation, workflow tools, AI-enabled processing, and data validation. - Ensure processes are sound and data is reliable before automating. - Lead vendor evaluations with clear use cases, success criteria, and change plans. Performance, Capacity & Economics: - Build a management system for cycle time, throughput, quality, backlog, service levels, and unit cost. - Build capacity models connecting demand, staffing, vendor capacity, and automation to the growth plan. - Partner with Finance to quantify savings, investment, and margin impact. - Use data to trigger decisions, not simply to produce reports. People, Vendors & Change: - Lead and develop a small internal team and build its capacity to take on broader responsibilities. - Manage approximately 50 offshore/BPO FTEs and about $1M in annual vendor spend against clear quality, capacity, and cost commitments. - Build stakeholder alignment before major changes and sustain adoption after go-live. - Partner across functions and represent Enterprise Operations with carriers and vendors when operational alignment is needed. What We're Looking For - 10+ years of progressively responsible operations leadership in commercial P&C, specialty underwriting, an MGA or program administrator, or a closely related regulated environment. - Experience personally leading at least one multi-function transformation from diagnosis through adoption, stabilization, and measured results. - Leadership of underwriting support, policy administration, shared services, or similar high-volume transactional operations. - Hands-on experience building operating models, SOPs, service levels, controls, capacity models, and scorecards. - Experience partnering with Technology on workflow automation or AI-enabled operations, from requirements through adoption. - Experience managing offshore, nearshore, or BPO partners against defined quality, capacity, and cost standards. - Ability to connect operating decisions to expense, margin, and investment return. - Effective remote leadership skills. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Preferred Experience: - Deep knowledge of the submission-to-bind lifecycle, policy issuance, renewals, and carrier/MGA interactions. - Experience with insurance platforms, workflow/CRM tools, reporting environments, and automation technologies. - Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence experience paired with a record of implementation. - Advanced degree or insurance designation such as CPCU, AINS, or similar.
