Duties Conduct thorough research on potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources. Assist in developing compelling grant proposals, including narrative content, budgets, and supporting documentation aligned with funder guidelines. Manage and update grant-related databases such as Raiser's Edge or similar CRM systems to track application statuses, deadlines, and reporting requirements. Support the preparation of financial reports, program summaries, and impact statements for grant submissions and funder updates. Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information for proposal case development and project descriptions. Proofread and edit grant documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and persuasive messaging. Maintain organized records of all grant correspondence, submissions, and follow-up activities to ensure compliance and efficient grant management. Requirements Strong writing skills with experience in proposal writing, technical writing, or persuasive content creation. Familiarity with databases such as Raiser's Edge or similar CRM platforms for grant tracking and management. Knowledge of nonprofit foundation processes, grant funding research, and contract management is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively. Experience or interest in nonprofit community organizations or government agency fundraising is preferred. Detail-oriented with strong proofreading skills to ensure error-free submissions. Ability to conduct research on grant opportunities and develop compelling case statements for funding requests. Basic understanding of budgeting principles and financial report writing related to grants is a plus. 100% Remote Nonprofit work, for a great cause.
