Motu Novu seeks a virtual assistant fluent in American English who will work remotely as an independent contractor to support the firm’s partners in several day-to-day activities, as well as perform certain marketing and business development duties. Occasional, optional international travel to the EU and to the USA.

What You Do

-

Develop a comprehensive understanding of working in an international, distributed professional services firm.

-

Develop a comprehensive understanding of Motu Novu’s service offering and client base.

-

Develop a comprehensive understanding of administrative operations, compliance, accounting, HR, and finance.

-

Provide personal and operational support to the firm’s partners.

-

Help manage the inbound and outbound documentation flows.

-

Research markets, products, consumer behavior, and competitors.

-

Assist in the planning, development, and deployment of new physical goods e-commerce stores.

-

Perform operational marketing tasks.

-

Provide pre- and post-sale e-commerce customer support via email, ticket, chat, and telephone.

What You Need

Confident, poised, and outgoing personality, in both internal and external interactions.

-

Exceptional written and oral communications skills in (American) English.

-

Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

-

Demonstrated willingness to study, learn, and carry out tasks in a dependable manner.

-

Proficiency with office productivity tools.

-

Bona-fide setup as an independent contractor.

-

Optionally, familiarity with the GNU/Linux operating system (any distro.)

-

Optionally, working knowledge of e-commerce and e-commerce fulfillment tools.

Successful completion of background check.

Base Compensation: $9-$15/hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
