The Opportunity

Restoration Heroes is looking for an experienced, hands-on VP of Operations who knows the restoration industry, leads by example, and knows how to get things done!

We're looking for a strong leader who takes ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to balance production, profitability, and exceptional customer service. This position will oversee our Production Manager, Project Administration, Contents Manager, and Director of Abatement, ensuring all departments operate efficiently and work together to deliver exceptional results.

This isn't a position for someone who wants to manage from behind a desk. We need a leader who understands the field, can make tough decisions, solve problems, develop strong teams, and hold everyone accountable.

What You'll Do

● Lead, coach, and develop the Production Manager, Project Admin, Contents Manager, and Director of Abatement.

● Oversee all field production operations, including mitigation, contents, and abatement.

● Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

● Monitor department KPIs, production goals, gross margins, and overall profitability.

● Conduct job site visits to ensure quality, safety, and company standards are met.

● Provide guidance on complex water, fire, mold, sewage, and abatement projects.

● Oversee scheduling, staffing, equipment, and resource allocation across departments.

● Resolve operational challenges, customer concerns, and internal conflicts.

● Improve workflows, communication, efficiency, and accountability across all departments.

● Collaborate with Project Management, Estimating, Accounting, and Business Development.

● Ensure compliance with IICRC standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.

● Participate in leadership meetings, strategic planning, and company growth initiatives.

● Provide leadership support during emergency response situations and participate in the management on-call rotation as needed.

What We're Looking For

● 5+ years of restoration/mitigation industry experience required.

● 3+ years of management or leadership experience required.

● Strong knowledge of water, fire, mold, sewage mitigation, contents, and abatement operations.

● Experience overseeing multiple departments and managing department leaders.

● Strong understanding of IICRC S500/S520 standards and restoration industry best practices.

● Proven ability to manage production schedules, labor, equipment, and department profitability.

● Excellent leadership, communication, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.

● Professional demeanor and presentation when working with customers, vendors, and insurance professionals.

● Highly organized, proactive, and able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

● IICRC certifications strongly preferred.
