Vice President of Online Operations

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Online Operations to lead and oversee all aspects of our online education division. This executive leader will drive operational excellence, student success, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth across our online nursing and allied health programs. The ideal candidate has worked within school environments and understands the unique needs of virtual learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily online campus operations and distance education programs.
• Improve student retention, engagement, and graduation outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Student Services departments to optimize the student experience.
• Lead academic support, and educational technology initiatives.
• Collaborate with academic teams to align online delivery with educational standards and goals.
• Support staff development and manage team performance across online departments.
• Serve as a key point of contact for online student issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Manage and develop high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in online education operations or a similar role within a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of online learning platforms, compliance, and student success practices.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive results.
