Job Summary

The Vice President of Market Operations provides executive leadership, strategic direction, and comprehensive oversight for business operations across a designated market. This role is responsible for aligning operational priorities with core business units and functional leaders, driving financial accountability, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to scale performance and enhance service delivery. The position requires more than 12 years of experience in market operations management, alongside a proven track record in core business or frontline team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Executive Leadership & Operational Oversight: Lead high-performing regional teams and oversee end-to-end market operations; establish strategic priorities and empower mid-level managers to drive consistent, scalable results.
• Strategic Business Alignment: Partner closely with business unit heads, product leaders, and service delivery executives to seamlessly synchronize operational capabilities with core commercial goals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Cultivate strong relationships across internal corporate functions (Product, Sales, Finance, Legal) to eliminate operational bottlenecks and strategically deploy resources based on market demands.
• Financial & Strategic Management: Direct regional P&L performance, oversee financial forecasting and budget management, and leverage business intelligence and data analytics to inform executive decision-making.
• Performance Improvement (PI) & Governance: Champion enterprise-wide business process re-engineering and efficiency initiatives; effectively communicate strategic priorities, milestones, and high-impact decisions to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

• Industry Experience: 12+ years of progressive, verifiable experience managing large-scale market, regional, or departmental operations within the corporate tech, finance, or enterprise services sectors.
• Leadership Background: Demonstrated experience in senior corporate leadership, with a strong background in managing both strategic executive layers and frontline/execution-focused business units.
• Core Competencies: Mastery in executive team leadership, large-scale operations management, and macro-level strategic planning.
• Financial Acumen & Optimization: Deep expertise in corporate financial management, budget optimization, and implementing Performance Improvement (PI), OKR, or Agile framework methodologies.
• Communication & Synergy: Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills; a proven ability to interface with C-Suite executives, manage diverse stakeholder expectations, and deliver clear, high-impact managerial communication.

Pay: $189,382.31 - $223,998.05 per year
