We're looking for an experienced Vice President of Loan Operations to lead our consumer, indirect, and real estate loan operations and servicing functions. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who brings strong lending knowledge, develops people, improves processes, and understands how sound operations contribute to an exceptional member experience.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop our loan operations team.
• Oversee underwriting, loan approval, processing, documentation, servicing, and asset-quality practices.
• Create clear priorities, responsibilities, service expectations, and accountability.
• Improve workflows and use technology to make lending more efficient, accurate, and member-focused.
• Monitor operational performance, workload, capacity, compliance, and risk.
• Partner across Midcoast to solve problems and continually improve the member and employee experience.
• Provide meaningful analysis and recommendations to support sound lending decisions.

What You'll Bring

• 5–10 years of progressively responsible lending or related financial-services experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing employees.
• Strong knowledge of consumer lending and loan operations.
• Sound judgment and the ability to balance member needs, service, compliance, and risk.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• A continuous-improvement mindset and comfort using technology to improve operations.
• Credit union or regulated financial-institution experience is preferred.

A bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, management, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent education, training, certifications, and progressively responsible experience may also be considered.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position requiring some in-office presence at a designated branch location.
