In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Duties - Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to foster growth and stability. - Oversee all accounting functions, including corporate accounting, non-profit accounting, governmental accounting, and compliance management. - Lead the preparation and interpretation of financial statements, reports, and projections to inform executive decision-making. - Manage treasury functions such as cash flow analysis, investment management, and risk management to safeguard assets and optimize liquidity. - Drive budgeting processes, cost control initiatives, and financial planning efforts using advanced data analytics tools and financial software. - Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting standards such as IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards. - Lead the finance team in developing financial models for forecasting, scenario analysis, and strategic planning to support long-term growth objectives. - Conduct risk analysis assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies across financial operations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business development activities, including investment management and industry market analysis. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and financial concepts to ensure compliance and best practices. Skills - Extensive experience in IAS, IFRS, GAAP, ASC 606 standards, and regulatory reporting requirements. - Strong expertise in corporate finance, cost accounting, profit & loss management, and financial analysis. - Proficiency with accounting systems, financial software, Excel data analysis tools, and data analytics platforms. - Proven leadership in finance directorship roles with a focus on strategic management and team development. - Excellent skills in financial report writing, interpretation of complex financial data, and presentation to executive stakeholders. - Deep understanding of treasury management principles including cash flow analysis, investment strategies, and risk management techniques. - Ability to develop sophisticated financial projection models for forecasting revenue streams and expense trends. - Knowledge of industry-specific regulations affecting governmental or non-profit organizations is a plus. - Strong analytical skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments. - Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and external partners.
