Job Overview

The Vice President of Finance and Operations provides executive leadership for financial planning and operational effectiveness in a higher education setting. You’ll guide budget management, strategic planning, and education administration while partnering with academic leaders to support institutional priorities. This role is suited to a leader who understands university operations and can connect sound financial management with strong academic programs.

Duties

• Lead strategic planning, budgeting, and financial oversight, including executive-level budget management in education.
• Oversee operational teams, staff supervision, and personnel management; strengthen coordination across the institution.
• Partner with faculty and academic leaders on curriculum development and educational program management.
• Manage academic accreditation compliance and help ensure operations align with applicable accreditation standards.
• Your impact: By aligning budgets and operations with academic priorities, you help faculty and students benefit from well-supported educational programs.

Skills

• Required: Executive leadership, management, leadership, strategic management, budgeting, and supervising experience.
• Required: Experience in higher education administration, education administration, university or academic institution settings, and executive education administration.
• Preferred: College faculty experience, higher education teaching, academic research, faculty collaboration, and academic leadership.
• Preferred: Experience in strategic planning in education, budget management in education, staff supervision, and accreditation compliance management.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
