We perform work in the vegetation management and construction sectors. The responsibilities for the Vegetation Field Operations Manager will include: - Leadership and coordination of crew in the field for the successful completion of work - Operation of equipment including zero turn mowers, tractors, skid-steers, trucks, trailers, etc. - Operation of hand tools such as weed-eaters, chainsaws, sprayers, etc. - Organizing and coordinating projects with company management. - Client and customer communication. Company Benefits Include: - Paid Time Off Program - 401(k) Matching - Company Sponsored Health Insurance Program - *possiblity of a take home company truck* Needed experience and skills of applicant: - Proven experience as a Crew Supervisor or similar role in related sectors. 5 + years of experience in a similar role in a company that performs related work - 5+ years of equipment operation experience. Applicant should be proficient in operating a utility tractor and batwing shredder, skid-steers, zero turn mowers, and other equipment. - Applicant must have a valid commercial pesticide applicators license, or be able to obtain one within 8 weeks of starting employment. - Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Please note that that this is not a "sit in the truck" foreman position. The canidate for this position will be working along side their crew / crews in the field daily. Applicant will need to undergo a background check and drug test prior to starting date. This position requires commuting daily to Taylor. Jobsite locations vary.
