We currently have a position available for a Sales Executive and Vehicle Preparation Specialist which will also incorporate progress chaser and handover specialist roles as well. Relevant experience is essential. This position is for someone already experienced within a car dealership or in the motor trade, or extremely experienced in sales within a similar industry with transferrable skills with a proven track record of success. As we are a small team the role is not only a sales role but will involve all aspects of the dealership including admin and paperwork and ensuring cars are prepared and displayed correctly Duties for the role are mainly assisting the Sales Manager to ensure all cars are fully prepared and ready for sale in a timely and cost effective manner, including liaising with contractors and suppliers. The role will also incorporate a sales role and helping the business to ensure it meets sales and profitability targets. The role will also include preparing paperwork and handing over of cars to customers. The role includes admin and paperwork so the successful candidate will need to be computer literate and adept at basic word and excel functions as well as internet literate, in addition to be detail conscious and having outstanding customer service skills. The role will also include some driving duties. You will also be required to help display, advertise and photograph cars as well as ensure they are clean, fully prepared, and presented correctly and the site is also presented correctly. The successful candidate will be self motivated, enthusiastic and hard working, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under their own initiative. Experience in the motor industry is highly preferable but not essential for the right candidate with strong sales and/or customer service experience, although a full driving licence is required. It is important to be detail focused and computer and internet literate including some basic use of excel and word. In turn the successful candidate will be rewarded with an OTE of up to £50,000 which is uncapped so outstanding candidates can earn even more. This is a full time role which will encompass working most weekends. The role is 6 days per week including Saturday and Sunday (shorter hours at weekends) with a day off during the week. There will also be 1 weekend off on a 4 weekly basis in addition to the day off during the week.
