Location: Thane, Maharashtra (Work From Office) Job Type: Full-time Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM IST, Monday to Friday (Saturday & Sunday off) Pay: ₹12,00,000 – ₹30,00,000 a year Full job description We're hiring a US Tax Manager to own tax engagements end-to-end — from client intake through filed return — for our US accounting outsourcing practice. Responsibilities: End-to-end preparation and filing of US federal and state tax returns: 1040, 1040-NR, 1040-SR, 1120, 1120S, 1065, including multistate returns Technical review of returns prepared by Seniors/Associates; sign-off before filing Act as quality-control extension of US-based CPA firm partners; follow firm-specific review checklists and documentation standards Identify and resolve discrepancies in returns and supporting workpapers Lead and mentor a small team of Tax Seniors/Associates through peak filing seasons Direct client and CPA-partner communication for tax planning, notices, and technical questions Requirements: CA (Chartered Accountant) — mandatory 5+ years of US taxation experience with genuine end-to-end preparation and filing (not review-only) Hands-on experience across 1040/1040-NR/1040-SR and 1120/1120S/1065; multistate or multi-entity exposure preferred Proficiency with tax software: CCH Axcess, UltraTax, GoSystem, ProSystem fx, Lacerte, Pro-Connect, or Drake Strong written and verbal English for direct coordination with US-based CPA partners Ability to manage strict deadlines and peak-season workload Prior team-lead or people-management experience Benefits: 5-day work week (Sat & Sun off) 24 days annual paid leave How to apply: Email your CV to hr@karmags.com with subject line "US Tax Manager – [Your Name]," or apply directly via Indeed.
