The role supervises accounting staff, supports financial reporting and closing activities, ensures compliance with applicable tax and regulatory requirements, and helps strengthen accounting processes and internal controls. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA qualification is preferred but not required. At least 5 years of relevant experience in general accounting. At least 2 years of experience in a team-lead or supervisory capacity. Experience in financing, lending, banking, or other financial-services industries is preferred but not required. Proficient in NetSuite or a comparable ERP/accounting system. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookup formulas, and financial data analysis. Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation and applicable BIR and SEC regulations. Knowledge of accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong supervisory and people-management skills. Demonstrates integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and the ability to meet strict reporting and regulatory deadlines.
