Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, resolve general queries, and prepare year-end accounts for UK clients. Actively participate in client-facing communications, including emails, WhatsApp, and quarterly client meetings. Work closely with and support the lead commercial property specialist on a large property client project. Handle accounts payable, supplier invoices, and payment preparation. Perform bank, balance-sheet, and control-account reconciliations. Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments, and month-end accounts. Maintain customer, supplier, and tenant ledgers where applicable. Support billing, invoicing, and financial reporting. Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies independently. Must-Haves Newly qualified professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent). 3 to 5 years of post-qualified experience. Confident, highly proficient written and verbal English skills suitable for a direct client-facing role. Strong general accounting and bookkeeping experience. Hands-on experience with AP, reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, and month-end processes. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Comfortable working closely with UK-based clients and internal teams via Slack, Outlook, and WhatsApp. Nice-to-Haves A basic understanding of UK taxes and UK VAT. Experience with UK commercial property systems such as Yardi, MRI, TRAMPS, Trace, MOJO, or Qube. Commercial property or property-management accounting experience, including knowledge of rent, service-charge, tenant, or client-money accounting. Previous experience in an accounting practice or outsourced finance environment. Work Location Home based work set up Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM UK Time Should have strong internet connection (minimum of 20 mbps) Should have own Laptop/PC (minimum of i5 8GB RAM) Note: As part of our recruitment process, we conduct a background check on all hired candidates.
