Role Description Based in Makati, the The UC Engineer / Technical Presales is responsible for providing expertise and support to the sales team throughout the sales process, including understanding customer requirements, assisting with proposal development, and product presentations and demonstrations. The Technical Presales Engineer will also collaborate with the Support and Development team for system implementation and support. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will work closely with sales, technical and development teams to engage customers, understand business requirements, design solutions, deliver presentations and demos, and support successful implementations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with commercial awareness and customer-facing confidence . Key Responsibilities Meet with customers to understand business operations, pain points, and technical requirements Translate customer needs into practical and competitive solution proposals Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical workshops Prepare proposals, bids, tenders, and RFI/RFP responses Work closely with the sales team to align technical solutions with customer goals Coordinate with technical team on implementation planning and delivery Participate in post-sales support, maintenance coordination, and customer follow-up Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels Stay current with market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies Recommend product enhancements and new opportunities to management Use AI tools to improve productivity, research, and proposal quality Prepare technical documentation, solution architecture, and scope of work documents Implement a UC for collaboration and testing with other solutions. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a presales, solutions engineering, systems engineering, or related role Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience Experience conducting customer presentations and technical demos Solid background and broad knowledge in Contact Centre deployment and operation Experience conducting customer presentations and technical demos Experience preparing proposals, tenders, and RFP responses Excellent spoken and written English communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small high-performing team Advantageous Skills Windows Server / MS SQL Linux AI tools / automation workflows Any UC or PBX Systems Voice/Video Logging Systems Mobile radio communications Project implementation experience Ideal Candidate You are confident with customers, commercially aware, technically capable, and enjoy solving business problems with technology. Having strong knowledge of Unified Communications (UC) and hands-on experience implementing it from the ground up is an advantage.
