# TRIP MANAGEMENT OFFICER **TMAS SDN BHD** · Kuala Lumpur · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role JOB SUMMARY To support the smooth and efficient management of daily bus trip operations at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS), including monitoring bus arrivals and departures, coordinating with bus operators, managing trip-related issues, and ensuring compliance with terminal operating procedures. The role will work closely with the Terminal Operations team, bus operators, and relevant stakeholders to minimise operational disruptions and ensure a seamless passenger travel experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor and coordinate daily bus arrivals, departures, boarding, and trip movements within the terminal. Monitor scheduled trips and ensure buses operate according to the assigned trip schedules and terminal procedures. Coordinate with bus operators, drivers, Terminal Operations teams, and relevant stakeholders regarding trip-related matters. Monitor delays, cancellations, late arrivals, missed trips, bus changes, and other operational disruptions. Escalate and coordinate appropriate actions for trip delays, cancellations, overloading, bus breakdowns, and other operational issues. Assist in managing changes to trip schedules and bus assignments where required. Monitor the movement of buses within designated terminal areas to ensure smooth traffic flow and operational efficiency. Ensure bus operators comply with TBS operating procedures, terminal rules, and relevant operational requirements. Coordinate with relevant teams during peak periods, public holidays, festive seasons, and high passenger volumes. Assist in handling and resolving trip-related enquiries from bus operators, drivers, passengers, and internal teams. Monitor and record operational incidents, trip disruptions, delays, and other relevant information for reporting purposes. Prepare daily/shift reports relating to trip performance, delays, cancellations, and operational incidents. Communicate important operational updates to relevant departments and stakeholders in a timely manner. Support the Terminal Operations team during emergency situations and major operational disruptions. Ensure proper handover of outstanding trip-related issues between shifts. Perform other operational duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in transportation, bus operations, logistics, terminal operations, customer service, or other operational environments is an advantage. Good understanding of basic transportation and trip scheduling operations. Good communication and coordination skills. Able to communicate effectively with bus operators, drivers, passengers, and internal departments. Good problem-solving skills and able to remain calm when handling operational disruptions. Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Able to work in a shift-based environment, including weekends and public holidays. Willing to work in a fast-paced, high-volume transportation environment. Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
