Treasury Accountant - START ASAP
Job Summary The Treasury Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s cash flow, banking transactions, fund availability, and treasury operations. The role ensures timely payments, accurate cash monitoring, proper reconciliation, and compliance with financial controls to protect company funds. Key ResponsibilitiesCash Flow & Treasury Management Monitor daily cash positions and bank balances. Prepare cash flow forecasts and funding requirements. Manage fund transfers and ensure sufficient funds for operations. Monitor liquidity and cash utilization. Banking & Disbursement Management Process and monitor company payments, fund transfers, and banking transactions. Maintain and monitor Post-Dated Check (PDC) schedules to avoid payment issues. Coordinate with banks regarding transactions, requirements, and account concerns. Manage local and international fund transfers when needed. Reconciliation & Reporting Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations. Investigate and resolve cash and bank discrepancies. Prepare cash position reports, treasury reports, and payment monitoring reports. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Compliance & Controls Ensure timely payment of statutory obligations (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, taxes, etc.). Monitor bank charges, interest, and loan-related transactions. Maintain proper documentation and compliance with treasury policies. Safeguard banking access, payment approvals, and confidential financial information. Audit Support Provide treasury documents and reports for internal and external audits. Maintain accurate and organized financial records. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in treasury, accounting, or finance operations. Knowledge of cash management, banking transactions, and financial reporting. Proficient in Excel and accounting/ERP systems. Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work under deadlines.
