# Transformation PMO Lead (Contract) **CTM Unlimited** · Remote · `Remote` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role We are seeking a Transformation PMO Lead to own how a multi-functional enterprise transformation program runs. The program spans four corporate (G&A) functions, three delivery tracks (Program Infrastructure, Change Management, and Data & Insights), and external process documentation vendors. This role leads the Program Infrastructure track. It owns governance structure, the integrated workplan, the sprint cadence, vendor scheduling and logistics, program-level status reporting, and the consolidated risk and issue log. This is a people- and process-transformation program, not a systems or IT deployment. The role leads a team of six: a Senior Project Scheduler, a Program Coordinator/Document Controller, and four function-embedded PMO Analysts. It sits as a peer to the Change Lead and the Data & Insights Lead. It owns how the program runs, not what the program produces analytically or strategically. This role is best suited for a PMO leader who builds operating rhythm from scratch, holds a hybrid model together (integrated master schedule plus two-week sprints), and keeps three tracks and multiple vendors moving in one direction without taking over their lanes. Key Responsibilities Program Governance - Governance Structure: Design and run the program governance model: meeting cadence, decision rights, escalation paths, and standard operating procedures. - Governance Cadence: Own the operating rhythm for steering committee, workstream lead, and phase gate reviews, working through the Program Coordinator on calendar and logistics. - Cross-Track Coordination: Serve as the operational coordination point across Program Infrastructure, Change Management, and Data & Insights, resolving scheduling dependencies and logistics conflicts between tracks. Planning & Delivery Rhythm - Integrated Workplan: Own the integrated workplan across all workstreams as the single source of truth for milestones, owners, dependencies, and status. - Sprint Cadence: Run the program-level two-week sprint cycle: pre-sprint planning, workstream alignment, sprint review, and accountability tracking. PMO Analysts lead sprint planning within their workstreams. - Schedule Decisions: Make program-level scheduling decisions informed by the Senior Project Scheduler’s integrated master schedule, critical path, and schedule risk analysis. Vendor Coordination - Vendor Scheduling & Logistics: Own when and how external vendors engage: deliverable scheduling, onboarding logistics, and escalation when vendor delivery is at risk. Status, Risk & Reporting - Program Status Reporting: Produce operational program status for senior client and consulting leadership: milestones, schedule health, risks, and decisions needed. - Program RAID: Consolidate workstream RAID logs into a program-level view; escalate and facilitate resolution of operational risks and issues. - Dashboard Inputs: Supply program structure context (sprint cadence, deliverable milestones, workstream outputs) to the Data & Insights Lead as input to program dashboards. Team Leadership - Team Direction: Direct and assign work to the Scheduler, Program Coordinator/Document Controller, and four PMO Analysts; set and hold the quality bar for PMO outputs. - Standards: Set PMO standards for workstream schedules, RAID logs, change logs, and update cadence, and ensure the team applies them consistently across all four functions. Qualifications - 8–10+ years of program management or PMO experience, including at least 3 years leading a PMO or program management team on a multi-workstream transformation. - Demonstrated experience designing program governance from the ground up: cadence, decision rights, escalation paths, and SOPs. - Hands-on experience running a hybrid delivery model: an integrated master schedule with critical path discipline alongside agile sprint cadence. - Experience coordinating multiple external vendors on a single program, including scheduling, onboarding, and escalation. - Background in organizational, process, or G&A transformation (versus systems/ERP/IT deployment) strongly preferred. - Experience leading and developing PMO staff, including work assignment and quality review. - Executive-ready written communication: clear, concise status and escalation for senior client audiences. - PMP strongly preferred; agile credential (PMI-ACP, SAFe, CSM, or similar) or equivalent demonstrated sprint experience a plus. - Proficiency with program tooling (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, Teams). - Prior experience as a 1099 independent contractor or on commercial client engagements. - Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, or similar platforms as a routine part of daily workflow. This Role Is NOT - A budget, financial, or commercial management role. This role has no ownership of or visibility into program budget, billing, rates, or vendor contracts. - A benefits realization, value tracking, or analytics role. Measurement architecture, the benefits ledger, and dashboard design sit with the Data & Insights Lead. - A vendor content owner. This role owns when and how vendors engage; what vendors must produce is set by the Data & Insights Lead. - A change strategy role. Change methodology, readiness, stakeholder strategy, and communications content sit with the Change Lead; this role owns logistics. - A hands-on scheduler role. The Senior Project Scheduler builds and maintains the integrated master schedule; this role makes the decisions it informs. - An IT or systems deployment PMO. Preferred Characteristics - Builds operating rhythm quickly and makes it stick, without creating bureaucracy for its own sake. - Holds clear lanes: coordinates at the edges with peer leads rather than absorbing their scope. - Comfortable holding workstream leads and vendors accountable to dates without being adversarial. - Calm and decisive when priorities shift, scope firms up in phases, or timelines compress. - Develops the team: delegates real ownership to PMO Analysts rather than doing the work for them. - AI-enabled by default: uses AI tools to accelerate status reporting, RAID synthesis, and governance materials, and directs the team to do the same. Job Type: Contract Application Question(s): - Describe the largest PMO team you have led. How did you assign work, set standards, and hold quality without becoming the bottleneck? - Describe a program where you designed the governance model from the ground up. What cadence, decision rights, and escalation paths did you put in place, and what did you change once the program was running? - Describe a time an external vendor’s delivery put your program schedule at risk. How did you identify it, escalate it, and get it back on track? - This role sits alongside a Change Lead and a Data & Insights Lead, each owning their own track. Describe a time you coordinated with peer leads where the boundaries between roles were tested. How did you handle it? - Describe a program-level risk or issue you escalated that others were treating as a workstream problem. What did you see, what did you do, and what was the outcome? - Describe how you produce program status for senior executive audiences. What do you include, what do you leave out, and how do you make decisions-needed visible? - Describe specifically how you currently use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, or similar) in your PMO work, including reporting, RAID, and governance materials. - This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Hours are driven by client demand and are not guaranteed week to week. Payment is invoice-based on a Net-45 cycle. Have you worked as a 1099 independent contractor before? If yes, briefly describe the engagement. If no, describe how you would approach the financial planning this model requires. Work Location: Remote
