Training Sales Manager
Job Purpose The Training & Development Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to increase revenue from training programs, corporate learning solutions, workshops, and professional development services. The role focuses on acquiring corporate clients, managing key accounts, achieving sales targets, and building long-term business relationships. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales Strategy & Business Development Develop and implement sales strategies for training and development services. Identify new business opportunities and potential corporate clients. Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline. Research market trends, competitors, and customer needs. Generate new leads through networking, referrals, digital channels, and direct sales. 2. Corporate Sales Approach companies and decision-makers to promote training solutions. Understand clients’ training needs and recommend suitable programs. Prepare customized training proposals and commercial offers. Conduct client presentations and sales meetings. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms. Follow up on proposals and convert opportunities into confirmed business. 3. Client & Account Management Build and maintain strong relationships with HR Managers, L&D Managers, CEOs, and business owners. Manage key corporate accounts and identify opportunities for additional business. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Collect client feedback and coordinate with the training team to improve services. 4. Sales Team Management Lead, coach, and monitor the sales team. Set individual and team sales targets. Conduct regular sales meetings and pipeline reviews. Monitor sales activities and conversion rates. Provide coaching and support to improve team performance. 5. Training Solution Development Work closely with trainers and consultants to understand available training programs. Participate in designing customized training solutions based on client requirements. Recommend suitable training formats such as: In-house training Public courses Workshops Online training Leadership programs Technical training Soft-skills training 6. Reporting & Performance Analysis Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports. Monitor sales targets, revenue, pipeline, conversion rate, and client acquisition. Analyze sales performance and identify areas for improvement. Provide accurate sales forecasts to management. Work Location: In person
