We are scaling our regional hub and are looking for a Trainee Operations Manager to master our day-to-day workflow from the ground up, with a view to managing key operational functions independently. Core Duties & Learning Areas Working directly alongside our Operations Director, you will learn how to plan, monitor, and optimize daily business execution. Your responsibilities will include: Monitoring daily operational workflows to ensure service levels and delivery timelines are met. Assisting with staff scheduling, shift planning, and resource allocation across departments. Tracking inventory levels, logging equipment movement, and handling supplier dispatches. Analyzing performance data and daily activity logs to identify operational inefficiencies. Working with line supervisors to enforce health, safety, and compliance standards on site. Coordinating cross-departmental handovers between administrative, customer, and field teams. Preparing weekly operational reports and KPI summaries for management reviews. Learning to handle operational escalations, logistics delays, and facility requirements. You will spend your first few months rotating through key operational stations to understand how our ground-level processes work. Through weekly one-to-one coaching with senior management, you will learn operational planning, cost controls, and team management techniques. As your grasp of our workflows develops, you will take ownership of specific shift operations, logistics tracking, and process improvement projects.
