ReOrbit is looking for a Total Rewards Specialist to design and administer the compensation, equity, and benefits programs that keep us competitive for rare deep tech talent. This is a foundational hire for our People Centre of Excellence building the frameworks that support fair, consistent, and market-competitive pay as we push the boundaries of space data transfer. Responsibilities Design and maintain career levels and compensation bands for both individual contributor and management tracks across Finland, Germany, and India, ensuring structures are internally equitable and defensible as the organization scales. Maintain market data across tech and aerospace compensation surveys, refreshing compensation bands at least annually to keep ReOrbit competitive for scarce deep tech talent. Own the annual compensation review process end-to-end, including budget allocation support, manager calibration, and clear communication of outcomes to employees and leadership. Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to benchmark offers against approved bands, providing timely guidance so hiring decisions stay competitive and consistent with existing employee compensation. Manage the full equity lifecycle, including grant calculations, vesting tracking, and refresh cycles, with clear communication to employees at key moments such as departure or exercise windows. Design market-appropriate benefits packages by country, balancing cost, competitiveness, and employee needs, while partnering with HR Operations, who own day-to-day enrolment administration and provider liaison. Conduct regular pay equity reviews across gender and other relevant dimensions, identifying and helping resolve gaps before they become compliance or retention risks. Ensure all compensation practices, including salary range disclosure, meet applicable regulatory requirements such as the EU Pay Transparency Directive, staying ahead of upcoming legislative changes across ReOrbit's markets. Act as the primary point of contact for compensation-related questions from HRBP, HR Operations, and Country HR leads, ensuring reward decisions are applied consistently across geographies. Provide compensation and equity reporting to leadership, including board-level equity pool reporting, to support informed workforce planning and investment decisions. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, total rewards, or a related specialist HR function. Demonstrated experience designing job architecture and compensation bands, ideally across multiple countries. Hands-on experience with equity administration, grants, vesting, and refresh cycles. Familiarity with market benchmarking tools and methodologies (e.g., tech and/or aerospace compensation surveys). Working knowledge of pay equity and transparency regulations relevant to the EU. Experience in a scaling tech, engineering, or deep tech organization preferred. High attention to detail and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-growing, multi-country environment. Strong stakeholder management skills, able to partner effectively with HRBP, HR Operations, and Talent Acquisition What does ReOrbit do?
