The QA Automation Engineer contributes to stable, reliable releases by identifying defects early and improving test coverage. Key Result Areas (KRAs) The role will be accountable for the following key result areas: - Test Automation Development & Execution - Design and maintain automated test scripts to validate application functionality across browsers. - Quality Assurance & Defect Prevention - Identify defects early and work with development teams to reduce defect leakage. - Test Coverage & Reliability - Ensure adequate test coverage for critical application features. - Collaboration & Continuous Improvement - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve testing practices. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and execute Tosca automation test scripts - Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing - Identify, document, and track defects - Maintain and enhance automated test suites - Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues Required Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in QA automation testing - Strong hands-on experience with Tosca (web, mobile and API) - Experience with test frameworks and scripting languages - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) - Experience integrating automation tests with CI/CD pipelines - Experience in Agile or DevOps environments Key Skills and Competencies - Technical: Tosca, Automation Frameworks, Web Testing - Interpersonal: Communication, collaboration - Behavioral: Attention to detail, accountability Success Metrics - Automation coverage of key application features - Defect detection and leakage rates - Stability and reliability of automated test suites - On-time completion of testing cycles Reporting and Team Structure Reports to: QA Lead / Test Manager Works closely with: Developers, Product Owners, DevOps teams Job Type: Full-time Application Question(s): - Can you start immediately? - How much is your asking salary? - How long is your notice period? - Are you open to project-based employment (initial contract of 6 months) if ever?
