# Tender Officer - Oil & Gas, Utilities & Power **Electro Mechanical Co LLC** · Abu Dhabi · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 6 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Summary The Sr. Tender Engineer is responsible for managing the complete tender and bidding process related to 400/220/132kV Substations, from identifying suitable opportunities and preparing tender documentation to submission, follow-up, and contract award. The role requires strong coordination, attention to detail, commercial awareness, and the ability to work under strict deadlines. The candidate should be basic know how about substations related work, SCMS / Protection modifications etc. Key Responsibilities Identify and monitor new tender opportunities through government portals, clients, consultants, and other relevant sources, mainly related to TAQA / ADNOC. Review tender documents, scope of work, specifications, drawings, BOQs, commercial conditions, and submission requirements. Coordinate with technical, commercial, procurement, finance, and operations teams to obtain required information and pricing. Prepare and compile complete tender submissions in accordance with client requirements. Prepare RFQs and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations. Analyze supplier/subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison statements. Will be responsible to prepare commercial offers, pricing schedules, BOQs, and tender summaries. Should able to identify the resource required and quantify the requirements as per tender. Ensure all tender forms, declarations, certificates, registrations, and supporting documents are complete and valid. Maintain an organized database of tender opportunities, submissions, quotations, and results. Coordinate tender clarifications and respond to client/consultant queries when required. Ensure tenders are submitted accurately and before the specified deadline. Follow up on submitted tenders and maintain communication with clients regarding tender status. Assist management in preparing bid/no-bid recommendations and tender strategy. Conduct basic market and competitor research to support competitive pricing. Review contract terms and highlight key commercial risks, exclusions, and special conditions. Support negotiations and handover of awarded projects to the contracts/project team. Maintain confidentiality of pricing, commercial information, and company documents. Prepare regular tender status reports and management updates. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Must have Previous experience in tendering, estimation, contracts related to HV Substations. Experience in construction, MEP, engineering or related industries is an advantage. Required Skills Strong knowledge of tender and bidding procedures. Good understanding of BOQs, specifications, quotations, and commercial documentation. Excellent MS Office skills , particularly Excel and Word. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and external parties. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Knowledge of tender portals and e-procurement systems is an advantage. Knowledge of ERP systems and document-control procedures is beneficial. Work Location: In person
