# Technician **Creative Technology llc Dubai** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 2 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role We are looking for a skilled and reliable Technician to support the installation, configuration, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and dismantling of audio-visual (AV) and technology systems for corporate, event, exhibition, and permanent installation projects. The ideal candidate should have practical technical knowledge, good troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a project team. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, test, operate, and dismantle AV and technology equipment at project and event sites. Assist with installation of LED displays, projectors, video walls, digital signage, interactive systems, lighting systems, audio systems, and control equipment . Set up and troubleshoot signal distribution, video processing, networking, and control systems. Perform equipment testing, commissioning, calibration, and system checks before handover. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions during installations and live events. Assist with DMX, Art-Net, HDMI, SDI, NDI, Dante, network, and other AV signal systems as required. Ensure all equipment is handled, transported, installed, and stored safely. Follow project drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and installation instructions. Conduct preventive maintenance and attend technical service/AMC visits when required. Maintain proper records of equipment, cables, accessories, tools, and site materials. Report damaged, missing, or faulty equipment to the Technical Manager. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, programmers, vendors, and client representatives on site. Support system testing, demonstrations, client training, and final handover. Follow all company, site, health & safety, and security procedures. Be available for evening, weekend, and public-holiday work when required for events and installations. Travel to client sites and project locations within the UAE as required. Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma, ITI, or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical, IT, AV Technology, or a related field. 1–3 years of relevant experience in AV, events, system integration, or technical installation. Basic understanding of AV equipment and signal flow. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, networking, and cabling. Ability to read basic technical drawings and wiring diagrams. Familiarity with projectors, LED screens, video processors, media servers, audio equipment, and control systems is an advantage. Knowledge of DMX/Art-Net, Dante, NDI, SDI, HDMI, and networking is an advantage. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
