Technical Writer
What is the team looking for? A proactive, detail-oriented Technical Writer who can translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. The team is looking for someone who can collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Studio IT, Operations, and QA to build and maintain high-quality documents that support product development, system workflows, project milestones, and client requirements. Ideally, someone with experience in software, IT, gaming, or live-studio environments. Core Work Responsibilities Create, update, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, API documentation, SOPs, technical specifications, workflows, training materials, and release notes. Translate complex engineering and product information into clear, concise, accurate, and user-friendly documentation. Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, QA, Studio IT, and Operations teams to gather and validate technical information. Participate in sprint meetings, feature reviews, and technical discussions to stay informed of product updates and document key changes. Develop and maintain visual documentation, including process diagrams, workflows, and UI/UX references using tools such as Figma, Lucidchart, or Draw.io. Organize and manage documentation repositories, ensuring proper version control, accessibility, and consistency. Review and update existing documentation to reflect product, system, and process changes. Conduct documentation walkthroughs, training sessions, or knowledge-sharing sessions for relevant teams when required. Ensure all documentation follows established standards for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and formatting.
