Technical Specialist for Events

Job Description: Event Technical Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Planning & Procurement: Identify, source and order the necessary structures, equipment and materials for events, including metal arches, platforms, dance floors and photo zone structures
• Technical Specifications: Understand construction methods, materials, dimensions, load capacity, stability and weight requirements for event structures
• Supplier Coordination: Communicate with suppliers, clarify technical specifications, check measurements and ensure all components meet project requirements
• Installation & Setup: Oversee and participate in the installation of photo zones, metal arches, stages, podiums, dance floors and decorative structures
• Safety & Stability: Ensure structures are properly assembled, secured and stable, with appropriate attention to weight distribution and safe installation
• On-Site Technical Supervision: Coordinate installation teams, solve technical issues and ensure all structures are ready before the event
• Dismantling & Storage: Supervise dismantling, check equipment condition and ensure proper storage after events

Requirements

• Practical experience in event production, technical installation, construction or a related field
• Good understanding of materials, measurements, structural stability and installation methods
• Ability to read measurements, technical drawings and specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work with suppliers, installation teams and event managers
• Willingness to work on-site, including evenings and weekends when required
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for technical execution

The ideal candidate is technically minded, hands-on and able to turn an event design into a properly planned, stable and safely installed structure.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
