# Technical Sales Engineer **Al Amiri Contracting LLC** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Al Amiri Contracting LLC is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to own the complete pre-production cycle for the company's steel fabrication and fit-out contracting projects — including all kind of steel support structures and structure for operable partition systems. The role covers new business development, technical sales, pricing and estimation, and project closing, right up to the point of handover to production. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and develop new business opportunities with main contractors, interior fit-out companies, and consultants across the UAE. - Visit client offices and project sites to understand requirements, take measurements, and gather technical details. - Read and interpret architectural, structural, and shop drawings (AutoCAD) to scope steel fabrication work accurately. - Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotations, and technical proposals using the company's estimation tools and templates. - Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with clients, and follow up on submitted quotations through to order closure (LPO/PO). - Coordinate with the design/drawing team to finalize technical specifications before handing the project to production. - Maintain and grow relationships with existing key clients and develop new accounts. - Hand over confirmed projects to the production/project team with complete technical and commercial documentation. - Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, and orders in the company's ERP/CRM system. - Track market rates for steel and related materials to keep pricing competitive and estimates accurate. Qualifications & Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, OR Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. - 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in technical sales, estimation, or project engineering — preferably in structural/steel fabrication or a related construction field. - Must currently be based in the UAE, with a transferable employment visa. - Valid UAE driving license (mandatory). Skills & Competencies: - Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication processes, materials, and site installation practices. - Able to read and interpret technical/shop drawings in AutoCAD. - Proficient in MS Excel for cost estimation and pricing workups. - Comfortable working with ERP/CRM software for sales pipeline and order tracking. - Strong negotiation, client relationship management, and follow-up skills. - Good written and verbal communication skills in English. - Self-driven and target-oriented, able to manage multiple enquiries and projects simultaneously. Salary & Benefits: AED 4,000 – 5,000 per month, plus sales commission. Standard UAE employment benefits (employment visa, medical insurance) apply as per company policy.
