Key ResponsibilitiesSales and Business Development Respond promptly to inbound customer enquiries. Understand customers’ technical requirements and recommend suitable products or spare parts. Prepare quotations and follow up with customers to close sales. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to generate repeat business. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a smooth sales cycle. Regularly update the CRM system and internal sales reports. Purchasing and Procurement Source engine spare parts from the company’s existing inventory and third-party vendors based on customer enquiries. Maintain historical pricing records and update pricing tables. Create, issue, and manage purchase orders. Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with vendors. Track orders from enquiry and purchase through delivery, invoicing, and payment collection. Maintain vendor databases and performance records. Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and applicable import/export documentation requirements. Inventory, Logistics, and Coordination Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for stock availability, dispatches, and delivery updates. Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery to customers. Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and goods receipt records. Coordinate with finance, procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to resolve order-related issues. Required Skills Basic understanding of mechanical components and engine spare parts; marine machinery knowledge is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP or CRM systems; knowledge of Zoho is preferred. Understanding of inventory control, procurement processes, and related documentation. Strong negotiation, communication, coordination, and customer-handling skills. Ability to manage multiple enquiries and orders simultaneously. Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude. Good written and spoken English.
