Do you want to know more about us?
Of course we can tell you the story of our company and our areas of expertise! But in the end,the most important thing is what your future T&S colleagues think about T&S.
What they like best :
Flexibility - Of course you get flexible working hours, home-office facilities and 30 days' holiday a year , but there is more to it than that. It is also the benefits that consulting brings. At T&S, whether you are a junior or an experienced consultant, you can move quickly through different projects , develop your skills and accelerate your career.
Projects - You will work in a stimulating environment. You will be in contact with experts and be at the heart of innovations. You can work in different industries or become an expert in a particular field. You can take advantage of paid training, certifications and language courses (English and German)!
Atmosphere - You will be with international and multi-cultural teams. Whether it is a Potluck, Karaoke, Karting, Oktoberfest or Summer and Winter parties, we want to have a good time with you. Having fun at work is important! It is a great way to bond and get to know each other better (but of course it is never an obligation!).
In more formal terms, we are a consulting firm specializing in engineering, IT and digital project management. We are an international company with a Franco-German DNA. Our 3,500 employees are of 45 different nationalities and are spread across 27 offices in 10 countries, including France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, Portugal, Egypt, and the Netherlands.
About the role
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to join our team and drive the delivery of
complex, multidisciplinary robotic systems from concept through deployment and field
sustainment. In this role, you will be the connective link between mechanical, electrical,
software, and systems engineering teams — ensuring that tightly coupled hardware and
software workstreams converge on time, on budget, and at the quality bar our customers
expect.
You will own the end-to-end program execution for robotic system development, including new
product introduction (NPI), design iterations, cost-down initiatives, and retrofit programs across
fielded fleets. You will operate in a fast-paced environment where trade-offs between
disciplines are the norm, and your ability to drive clarity, manage risk, and hold teams
accountable across engineering boundaries will be critical to success.
You will work hands-on with physical systems — understanding mechanical assemblies,
electrical architectures, and control software
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive integrated program schedules, governance mechanisms (design reviews, change boards, milestone gates), and risk management across mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineering workstreams -- from concept through production ramp and field deployment.
- Coordinate new product introduction (NPI) activities including prototyping, design verification testing (DVT), production validation testing (PVT), and manufacturing readiness.
- Drive cost reduction, design-for-excellence (DFx) initiatives, and retrofit/upgrade programs for fielded robotic systems by translating field feedback, failure data, and operational metrics into engineering priorities and actionable improvement plans.
- Define and track program KPIs (e.g., schedule adherence, risk burn-down, cost targets, field reliability metrics) and report status to senior leadership with clear, data-driven narratives.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional and geographically distributed partners -- including product management, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, safety/compliance, field operations, and external partners (e.g., contract manufacturers) -- to ensure consistent execution.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with multi-disciplinary teams of mechanical, electrical and software engineers.
- Experience managing programs across multiple teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide training and guidance to co-workers.
- Experience managing technical programs through the full product lifecycle — from concept and prototyping through integration, testing, and deployment.
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain integrated program schedules across hardware, software, and systems engineering workstreams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems and hardware change management processes (e.g., ECOs, design reviews, BOM management).
- Familiarity with DFx methodologies (Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, Reliability, Serviceability) and their impact on program planning.
- Experience working with service and field operations organizations to translate field feedback into engineering priorities and actionable improvement plans.
- Familiarity with robotic subsystems such as end-effectors, conveyance, lifting mechanisms, or operator workstations
