Duties and Responsibilities - Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals - Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. - Plans, estimates, schedules and tracks project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. - Uses and refines best practices and tools for project execution and management. - Drafts and submits budget proposals and recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary. - Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. - Proactively manages changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devises contingency Required Skills - Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. - Able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. - Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently. - Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines. - Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments. - Demonstrated written and oral communication skills. - Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products. - Able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. - Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. - Ability to effectively participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings Qualifications - Bachelor degree required - 5+ years’ technical project management experience, understand Agile Development Processes - 3-5 years of experience with MS Project - Project Management Certification (PMP, CSM, CAPM) strongly preferred Preferred Qualifications - 3-5 years’ experience conducting quantitative and qualitative risk management. - Root cause analysis - Likelihood and Impact assessments - Application of risk responses - 1-3 years’ experience with Power BI dashboard reporting. - 1-3 years’ experience with schedule critical path methodology. - 3-5 years’ experience with Agile/Waterfall hybrid project management. - 3-5 years’ experience in briefing project metrics to project stakeholders and senior leadership. - 1-3 years’ experience in schedule variance analysis utilizing PMI metrics - 3-5 years’ experience with developing project artifacts Working Conditions - Office Setting This position is remote with some travel/onsite requirements. Compensation: Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
