Technical Operations Associate
About Voucher Connect
Voucher Connect is a growing Irish SaaS platform that powers gift cards and vouchers for retailers, hospitality groups and experience providers. We handle everything from online sales and in-store redemption to reporting and integrations with our customers' existing systems. We are a small, hands-on team, which means every person here has real influence over how the business runs.
The role
We are hiring a Technical Operations Associate to work directly with the founder and keep the day-to-day of the business moving. This is a genuine generalist role: you will touch customer onboarding, sales support and product quality in the same week, and you will be trusted to own things end to end rather than hand them off.
It suits someone early in their career who is comfortable with technology, learns tools quickly, communicates well with customers and colleagues, and wants exposure to how a SaaS company actually operates.
A note on AI: we expect you to use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT and similar) as a core part of how you work every day - drafting, researching, summarising, testing, building small automations and working through problems. You do not need to be an expert on day one, but you should already be using these tools and be keen to get much better at it.
What you will do
Customer onboarding and support
- Set up new customers on the platform and walk them through getting live
- Handle incoming customer queries in Intercom, resolving what you can and escalating clearly what you cannot
- Keep help articles and onboarding guides accurate and up to date
Sales support
- Keep Pipedrive clean and current: contacts, deals, next steps
- Prepare proposals, follow-up emails and meeting notes for the sales team
- Chase outstanding actions so deals do not stall
Product, QA and integrations
- Test new releases before they go to customers and log clear, reproducible issues in Linear
- Configure and check customer integrations (POS, e-commerce, payment and email systems)
- Write short internal docs and process notes so knowledge does not live in one person's head
General operations
- Be the founder's right hand on whatever needs doing that week: vendor admin, reporting, scheduling, research
- Spot inefficiencies and fix them, often with an AI tool or a simple automation
What we are looking for
- 1-3 years' experience in an operations, support, coordinator or similar role, or a strong graduate with relevant internship or project experience
- Comfortable and curious with software: you pick up new SaaS tools quickly, are confident in spreadsheets, and are not afraid of settings pages, logs or API documentation
- Already using AI tools in your work or studies, with an appetite to go much deeper
- Clear, professional written and spoken English; presentable and confident on a customer call
- Organised and reliable: you track your own work, close loops and do not need chasing
- Pragmatic problem-solver who would rather figure it out than wait to be told
- Must have the right to work in Ireland
Nice to have (not required)
- Experience with Intercom, Pipedrive, Linear, Xero, Slack or Google Workspace
- Exposure to retail, hospitality or payments
- Basic scripting, SQL or no-code automation (Zapier, Make)
What we offer
- Competitive salary, depending on experience
- Hybrid working from our Dublin office
- Direct exposure to every part of a SaaS business and to the founder day to day
- Access to the best AI tools available and the expectation that you will use them
- A role that will grow with you as the company grows
