# TECHNICAL MANAGER (ELECTROMECHANICAL / MEP) **Mr. Ibrahim Ibrahim** · Abu Dhabi · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 7 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role WE ARE HIRING – TECHNICAL MANAGER (ELECTROMECHANICAL / MEP) Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Industry: Electromechanical (MEP) Construction We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager – Electromechanical (MEP) to lead and manage the technical and engineering activities of ongoing and upcoming MEP projects in Abu Dhabi. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage MEP technical and engineering teams. Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, technical submittals, and project requirements. Manage shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, technical queries, and approvals. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams. Resolve technical and design issues related to HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, ELV, and BMS systems . Ensure effective coordination between Mechanical, Electrical, and other project disciplines. Ensure compliance with project specifications, UAE authority requirements, applicable codes, and standards. Support value engineering, constructability reviews, and cost-effective MEP solutions. Monitor technical deliverables and approvals in line with project schedules. Provide technical support throughout execution, testing, commissioning, and handover. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant Engineering discipline . Minimum 12–15 years of experience in Electromechanical (MEP) construction projects . Strong UAE/GCC experience is essential. Proven experience as a Technical Manager / Senior MEP Technical Manager with a main MEP or construction contractor. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, ELV, and BMS systems . Excellent knowledge of MEP technical submissions, coordination, testing & commissioning, and UAE authority approval procedures. Strong leadership, technical coordination, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering/project management software. Immediate or short-notice availability is preferred.
