The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil construction, technical coordination, design management, and project execution, with the ability to lead technical teams and ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage all technical activities across construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and contractual requirements. - Review and coordinate architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings to ensure technical accuracy and proper integration. - Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of shop drawings, technical submittals, method statements, and material submissions. - Coordinate with consultants, clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal project teams to resolve technical issues. - Provide technical guidance and support to Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers, and other technical staff. - Review design drawings, identify discrepancies, and coordinate design modifications and technical solutions. - Manage the preparation and submission of RFIs, technical queries, design clarifications, and value engineering proposals. - Ensure all construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved technical documents, project specifications, and applicable UAE regulations. - Coordinate with planning, procurement, QA/QC, and construction teams to ensure technical deliverables align with project schedules and site requirements. - Review project specifications, BOQs, tender documents, and contract requirements to identify technical risks and obligations. - Lead technical meetings with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. - Monitor design development, technical approvals, and material submissions to avoid delays in project execution. - Identify technical challenges and provide practical, cost-effective, and construction-oriented solutions. - Oversee technical compliance, quality standards, and implementation of approved construction methods. - Support project teams in managing variations, design changes, and associated technical and contractual documentation. - Coordinate with the QA/QC department to ensure compliance with approved quality plans, inspection procedures, and project standards. - Review and support the resolution of site technical issues, non-conformances, and construction challenges. - Manage and mentor technical teams, allocate responsibilities, and monitor performance. - Ensure proper control, distribution, and updating of technical documents and drawings. - Support project handover, as-built documentation, testing, commissioning, and project close-out activities. Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. - 8–10 years of relevant experience in the construction or contracting industry, including experience in a technical leadership or management role. - Strong UAE/GCC experience in building construction, residential, villa, townhouse , or high-rise projects is preferred. - Proven experience managing technical departments or multidisciplinary engineering teams. - Strong knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP coordination. - Extensive experience in reviewing construction drawings, technical submittals, specifications, and contractual documents. - Good knowledge of UAE construction standards, authority requirements, and applicable building regulations. - Strong understanding of construction methodologies, design coordination, value engineering, and project execution. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant engineering or project management software. - Experience in managing consultants, subcontractors, technical approvals, and client coordination. - Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a practical approach to resolving technical challenges. - Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize technical deliverables, and meet project deadlines. Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
