Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to lead and manage the technical and engineering functions across the company's infrastructure and civil construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership, ensuring engineering compliance, reviewing project designs and methodologies, resolving technical issues, and coordinating with clients, consultants, project teams, subcontractors and authorities. The candidate should have strong experience in UAE civil infrastructure projects , particularly road works, earthworks, utilities, pipelines, drainage, storm-water systems and underground services. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the technical and engineering team across multiple projects. Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, contract documents and technical requirements. Ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements. Provide technical guidance to Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers and construction teams. Review and approve technical submissions, method statements, material submittals and shop drawings. Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and relevant authorities on technical matters. Identify, investigate and resolve engineering and construction-related issues. Review design changes, variations and technical proposals and provide appropriate recommendations. Ensure proper coordination between civil, infrastructure, utility and other project disciplines. Monitor technical progress and support project teams in achieving project milestones. Review construction methodologies and recommend improvements for productivity, quality and cost efficiency. Support project teams with technical solutions for roadworks, earthworks, excavation, pipelines, drainage and underground services. Ensure that technical documentation, inspection records and project engineering records are properly maintained. Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants and project stakeholders. Support tendering and estimation teams by providing technical input, construction methodology and resource requirements. Review project risks and recommend appropriate technical mitigation measures. Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, client requirements, HSE standards and applicable engineering standards. Provide technical support during project handover, testing, commissioning and closeout. Mentor and develop engineering staff and ensure effective technical knowledge transfer. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 15 years of relevant experience , preferably with significant UAE experience. Proven experience in civil infrastructure and contracting projects. Strong experience in road works, earthworks, utilities, pipelines, drainage/storm-water networks and underground services. Experience working with consultants, clients, subcontractors and government/utility authorities in the UAE. Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering drawings, specifications and project documentation. Excellent technical, analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Good knowledge of project planning, quality control and construction procedures. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of relevant engineering/project management software is an advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. UAE driving license is preferred. Pay: Up to AED1.00 per month Work Location: In person
