# Technical Engineer/Technical Specialist **Opus IT Services Pte Ltd** · Ang Mo Kio · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Technical Engineer / Technical Specialist Location: AMK Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM Salary: $2,400 - $4,000 Job Overview We are seeking a Technical Engineer / Technical Specialist with AI competencies to support the development, implementation and maintenance of digital learning applications, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technology platforms. The role combines software development, system integration and AI technologies to enhance learning platforms, improve user experience, personalise learning pathways and strengthen platform capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering skills, experience with learning technology platforms and practical knowledge of AI tools and technologies. Key Responsibilities Learning Application Development - Develop, customise and maintain Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital learning platforms. - Support the implementation, configuration and deployment of learning technologies. - Ensure applications are scalable, secure and aligned with established system architecture standards. AI Integration & Development - Design and integrate AI-powered features such as recommendation engines, chatbots and adaptive learning tools. - Integrate AI frameworks and APIs to support learning analytics, learner engagement and personalisation. - Explore and implement AI-driven solutions for content discovery, learner support and performance tracking. System Integration - Integrate LMS platforms with enterprise systems such as HR, authentication and analytics platforms using APIs and middleware. - Support integration between different applications and systems. - Ensure compatibility with e-learning standards such as SCORM, xAPI and LTI. Testing & Optimisation - Conduct system testing, debugging and performance optimisation for application and AI components. - Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for improvement. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation and deployment. Collaboration - Work closely with instructional designers, project managers and product teams to translate learning requirements into technical solutions. - Collaborate with data engineers and AI specialists to implement machine learning models and intelligent features. - Work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Documentation & Support - Maintain technical documentation covering system architecture, integrations and AI components. - Provide technical troubleshooting and support during system implementation and deployment. - Ensure system configurations and integrations are properly documented and maintained. Skills & Experience - Experience in software development using languages such as Python, JavaScript, C# or Java . - Good knowledge of web technologies including HTML5, CSS and REST APIs . - Familiarity with microservices architecture. - Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or digital learning platforms. - Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL . AI & Data - Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Scikit-learn . - Experience integrating AI APIs or services, including NLP, recommendation engines or chatbot frameworks. - Understanding of learning analytics, data processing and AI-driven personalisation. Systems & Integration - Experience integrating enterprise systems through APIs or middleware. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud . - Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, LTI or other digital learning standards will be an advantage. - Knowledge of system administration, including user access management, data backup and security practices in cloud environments. Other Skills - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Good attention to detail when handling configurations, customisations and system integrations. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to work effectively in cross-functional project teams. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline. - Relevant certifications in AI, cloud platforms, software engineering or LMS technologies will be an advantage. - Experience working with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud in learning technology environments. - Experience with SCORM, xAPI or Tin Can API for learning activity tracking and reporting. - Knowledge of data security practices, particularly for sensitive learning and employee data. - Experience working with cloud-based learning platforms.
