The role involves preparation and review of technical documents, shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, material submittals, coordination drawings, and as-built documentation while ensuring compliance with RTA requirements, project specifications, approved drawings, authority requirements, and applicable engineering standards. The engineer will coordinate closely with the construction, design, planning, QA/QC, survey, utilities, subcontractor, consultant, and RTA teams to resolve technical issues and support uninterrupted site activities. Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Engineering & Documentation - Review IFC drawings, contract drawings, project specifications, BOQ, authority requirements, and other technical documents. - Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings for roads, utilities, structures, drainage, and associated infrastructure works. - Prepare and submit technical submittals, RFIs, method statements, material submittals, technical queries, and engineering proposals . - Identify discrepancies, clashes, missing information, or constructability issues in drawings and raise appropriate RFIs to the consultant. - Ensure all technical documents are prepared in accordance with approved project specifications, RTA requirements, and relevant standards. - Maintain proper tracking and follow-up of technical submissions and consultant/RTA approvals. Experience - Minimum 5–8 years of relevant civil/infrastructure engineering experience . - Previous experience on Dubai RTA road and infrastructure projects is highly preferred. - Strong experience in roads, utilities, drainage, sewerage, stormwater, structures, or major infrastructure works. - Experience working with major contractors and engineering consultants in Dubai is preferred. - Familiarity with RTA approval procedures and technical documentation requirements is highly desirable.
