They will write, publish, and distribute technical documents, including user manuals, drawing revisions, release notes, interface documents, and compile customer requirements. This role reports to the engineering director. While some systems exist today, the expectation is that this role will be responsible for improving and standardizing these systems improving the quality and shortening the time needed to communicate technical documents to engineering firms and client end users. Job Responsibilities - Maintain a record of all corrections and revisions to documentation. - Collaborate and confer with stakeholders to document subject material and technical specifications. - Edit documentation immediately preceding delivery. - Communicate with clients to create a path for document and drawing revisions. - Put together final engineering documentation for projects. - Comply with and improve upon document control management processes. - Manage multiple projects with revolving deadlines. - Meet all related release and documentation deadlines. Job Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferred engineering discipline. - Ability to comprehend, assimilate, and document numerous software applications. - Ability to use word, excel and other Microsoft office products. - Understanding of Autocad software, preferred. - Highly motivated and independent individual.
