Technical Design Manager

We are currently seeking an Technical Design Manager with a background in Architecture and relevant experience in architectural engineering design consultancy firms to join our team.

Requirements :

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering from a recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in architectural design, including at least 5 years in technical design management, preferably within UAE engineering consultancy firms.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of architectural design, UAE building codes, local authority regulations, and multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Software & BIM Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), with strong knowledge of BIM workflows and clash detection.
• Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead architectural design teams, manage multiple projects, resolve technical issues, and ensure quality deliverables within project deadlines.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design of projects from the conceptual phase through to completion.
• Produce detailed blueprints and make necessary corrections.
• Provides design directions to Junior Architectural Designers in the team.
• Attends and chairs design meetings with the Client and the consultants.
• Works closely with the Architects and Senior Architects to ensure the design is clearly communicated and correctly documented.
• Compile project specifications.
• Keep within budgets and timelines.
• Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations.
• Follow architectural trends and advancements.
• Coordinate with other professionals such as contractors, engineers, and landscape architects.
• Leading professionally the BIM projects and understanding deeply how to manage and distribute the BIM tasks.
• Leading the BIM coordination meetings with the other disciplines and solve the project clashes. and follow the coordination Company agreed process.
• Implement strictly the Approved BIM projects workflow respecting the BIM protocols.
• using Navisworks or ACC review tools to check the QAQC of his projects before submitting any package to the clients.
• Coordinate with the BIM Manager in anything related to the BIM issues before taking any action related to BIM to be sure it is following the BIM Contract.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
